Like the Sinulog Festival of Cebu, Dinagyang Festival is also a much awaited festival celebrated anually in the province of Iloilo City.
Here i'm sharing you my 6Days and 5Nights combination of Boracay, Iloilo and bacolod day trip.

An island with undeniable beauty has captured my attention. Originally, my plan was to go directly in Iloilo City for the much awaited Dinagyang Festival 2016. Apparently, my plan has been revised to give way for an overnight Boracay Island getaway.
Here is to share my detailed experience through my whole vacation from Boracay Island to Iloilo City for Dinagyang Festival and to the City of Smiles, Bacolod!
Day 01
6:30pm Arrival kalibo
7:00pm Departure kalibo (via Island Star Express)
Van (1hour to Jetty Port)
8:00pm Arrival at Jetty Port (transfer to boat going to boracay Island)
8:30pm departure from Port
8:40pm Arrival at boracay port
8:50pm Another transfer (via airconditioned multicab) to accommodation (Boracay Breeze Station 1)
9:20pm Arrival at Accommodation
(It's Brownout! 😑)
9:40pm Free time to Explore!
(Dinner at Big mouth, dessert and coffee at Cafe' del Sol)
Day 02
6:00am Wake up call and Breakfast.
6:10am snooze alarm (back to sleep)
7:00am still not ready to get up
7:30am (Alright, Im hungry) Breakfast time!
8:00am Explore Boracay
11:30am Check out at Hotel
11:40am Jona's Fruit Shake
12:00nn Lunch break
12:30pm Souvenir Hunting
4:00pm Rent Tricycle (private) back to Boracay Port
4:50pm Arrival at Boracay Port (pay terminal fee and boat fee which cost 125.00 pesos)
5:00pm Departure of public transport boat going to Caticlan jetty port
5:10pm Arrival at Caticlan Jetty Port. Ride Van going to Iloilo.
5:30pm Departure of Van
10:00pm Arrival at Tagbak Molo Iloilo
10:30pm Drop luggage at Accommodation then proceed ro Smallville(bar hop)
Day 03 (Explore Iloilo)
3:00am Went back to accommodation
7:00pm Invasion Dinagyang Iloilo 2016
Day 04
(Dinagyang Parade)
Day 05 Bacolod Sidetrip
8:00am Wakeup Call
9:00am Departure to Port
9:50am on board. Departure from Iloilo-Bacolod Port
11:30am Arrival at Bacolod Port
11:48am Depart from port via Tricycle
1:00pm The Ruins Talisay
2:00pm Calea Pastries with disappointment
2:30pm San Sebastian Church
3:00pm Arrival at San Sebastian Church.
3:30pm Manokan Country
5:00pm (Cancelled Ferry Sched) Transfer to RoRo
5:30pm Departure of RoRo from Bacolod Port
8:20pm Arrival at Port of Dumangas
8:30pm Departure at Port via tricycle (cost: 70/pax)
9:00pm Arrival at Tagbak
9:10pm Dinner at Griller's (must-try Oysters)
Day 06
11:30am Departure going to Iloilo Cathedral
12:00pm Lunch at PUB express
Free time til flight back to Manila
9:30pm flight back to Manila
10:30pm Welcome Home!

Ferry Fare to Bacolod (200/way) through Ocean Jet
Cheaper fare for alternative is through RoRo which cost 50-70 pesos per person. These rates does not include terminal fees which cost 20-30 pesos per person.
